Happy Mother's Day

A few months ago, I sent my mom this picture with a note saying "Nothing makes me happier than my kids being happy together." DSC_0764
She replied, "that never changes." I'm gonna take her word for it, because she really seems to know what she's doing. So, in honor of Mother's day, here's a few of my favorite pictures that capture the occasional, fleeting and honeybean sweet moments when Cole and True hang like a posse

It makes me one happy mother.

Beeeeautiful photos! I love trying to figure out how they are alike, and how they are different.

I was trying to explain this phenomenon to Amelia the other day, when she wondered why I was so VESTED in them getting along. I explained that children generally outlive their parents, and we like to know that sisters are there for each other when we can't be. It's very, very hard to believe it when your sister just took ALL of your lip gloss and painted it all over your favorite stuff, but when the chips are down, siblings are there with the bail money.
