We have been busy bees lately. With the impending birth of our daughter some time in the next two weeks (holy bazonks!) we have been doing what we can to get the house ready for mayhem and family fun.
We finished the playroom wall:

And started a lego wall in the entry hall:

(Cole helped)

And since we decided to turn the guest bedroom into the Girl's room instead of letting her sleep in a drawer somewhere, we got her room together too:

What says baby girl like disco balls?

In other news, we went to our friends Paolo and Fernanda's baby shower! They are expecting a little girl at right around the same time we are. It's going to be rad having some nearby siblings of the same age!

They had awesome food

And Cole's friend Ryan taught him some modeling poses:

Cole didn't really get it, but he has been trying his best:

In an unrelated note, Cole really likes school busses.

And he doesn't really fit in his penguin hat anymore.

So he's been trying other hats on for size:

His favorite new thing though, is BASKETBALL!! He loves watching it on TV, and watching the kids at school play in the gym, and he loves slam dunks. Who doesn't?

Oh, and finally -- the other day I tickled Cole and he giggled.

Cole loves Kate. How could he not? She's awesome and fun.

I just realized that Cole is wearing the same frigg'n rocketship footie pajamas in every shot for the past two months. Is that a coincidence? Or does he wear those same pajamas every day? That is a mystery that Kate and I will have to figure out. We'll get back to you.
Thumbs up for that.

That all-white Lego wall is absolutely bodacious. Seriously. And we may have to steal your disco ball idea too. Sorry, Charlie! Oh, and can't wait to see photos of the new addition!
