Nom nom nom nom nom

The other day Cole ate snacks for the first time! Very exciting!! He had gotten the green light from our pediatrician, so we bought some peas, bananas, and apples. We figured we'd start with bananas because the truth is, bananas are delicious. Unless you're Andy Smith, but he's an anomaly.

The first face he made when confronted with the feeling of food in his mouth was something like this:

But then he seemed totally intrigued and loved it:

He also totally got the hang of it and started feeding himself. He was like, "hey man, I got this. Take five while I scarf this down."

It was pretty sweet. Here are some more pictures of the event.

Fun! I also took some video. Here's some video!

I love in the video when Cole looks at the camera (ie, Adam) and his is expression is totally like, "Whaaaat?" Yay! :)

I think that might be the cutest thing I've ever seen. Ever. Also, you might want to keep an eye out for any spoons tucked away in Cole's crib...because it definitely looks like he's been practicing behind closed doors.

whoa, I can't take the cuteness!!! that smile, that emotional roller coaster of his first chowing down experience, that advanced motor skill and spoon action - he's happiness wrapped in a onesie!

Love the video. Especially how whenever Cole smiles his big open-mouth smile, Kate's got the spoon in there. He likes it. He likes it! Can't wait to see him again.
